John almost died

So tonight after we watched Willy Wonka in Smell-O-Vision (sounds like a name Mr. Draper’s team would come up with) we went to Spaghetti Factory. John posed a question: what is it called when two words are combined to make one new word? A portmanteau, obviously. I then mentioned that I knew this because of an episode of the podcast You Look Nice Today called Vachina; a combination of vagina and China.

As soon as the word vachina hit John’s ears he was gone. It was seriously a good 10 minutes before he could speak coherently again. We were concerned he wouldn’t make it and that we might be kicked out of The Factory. Fortunately neither happened.

There was also a thing about baby butlers – that’s babies who are butlers, not butlers for babies. Another thing from YLNT. So, yeah. Moral of the story is if you like funny things you should take in some YLNT before you hear about it at dinner so you can avoid dying.

I think he laughed so much he broke something. I hope Holly got ‘Microsoft Signature’ service for him.
