Ben Franklin

I saw this post today that has these quote on it:

“Wise men don’t need advice. Fools won’t take it.”

“Keep your eyes wide open before marriage, and half-shut afterwards.”

“Whatever is begun in anger, ends in shame.”

“Life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late”

“The sleeping fox catches no poultry.”

“Being ignorant is not so much a shame as being unwilling to learn.”

“Take time for all things; great haste makes great waste.”

“Love your enemies, for they tell you your faults.”

“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”

“Having been poor is no shame, but being ashamed of it, is.”

Reading those made me think this: Ben Franklin was the OG Don Draper. Think about it:

  • They were both creators/inventors.
  • They were both at the top of their game.
  • They were both extremely promiscuous.

You’re so wise, Adam. Beyond your years.

  2. Adam says:

I’m pretty mature for my age.
