I saw this post today that has these quote on it:
“Wise men don’t need advice. Fools won’t take it.â€
“Keep your eyes wide open before marriage, and half-shut afterwards.â€
“Whatever is begun in anger, ends in shame.â€
“Life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too lateâ€
“The sleeping fox catches no poultry.â€
“Being ignorant is not so much a shame as being unwilling to learn.â€
“Take time for all things; great haste makes great waste.â€
“Love your enemies, for they tell you your faults.â€
“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.â€
“Having been poor is no shame, but being ashamed of it, is.â€
Reading those made me think this: Ben Franklin was the OG Don Draper. Think about it:
- They were both creators/inventors.
- They were both at the top of their game.
- They were both extremely promiscuous.
You’re so wise, Adam. Beyond your years.
I’m pretty mature for my age.
